Aviator - 23k Gold & AGX - Prescription Sunglasses

Acquired my first pair of these wonderful sunglasses in the late 70's as a pilot in the Air Force. Wore them throughout a 24 year career. Always loved these over the years. Somehow managed to lose them, along with several other pairs of sunglasses and Randolph's disappeared from general availability so got along with sunglasses available to the general public. In my old age, began to wonder where the ol' standby's had gone. Found 'em and man am I glad. Just like the old days, superb quality, fit like a glove, and outstanding lenses. Age has resulted in needing prescription lenses and Randolph does an excellent job of providing them. You'll never regret ordering from Randolph - fit, military heritage, optical quality, and American construction quality is exceptional.

I really like this pair of prescription sunglasses. They fit well and feel very secure on my head. With the bayonet temples the glasses can be removed or put on while wearing a cap. My only complaint is that being prescription lens they are ridiculously expensive. I would love to have more pairs of sunglasses with other colors of lens, but it is not in the budget.

The prescription is magnificent. The eye glassfranes are perfect, except I thought was ordering white gold or highly polished silver. The frames and lens are great for hik Ng with the AGX lens. Thank you. I will buy several more for driving and flying. I do have onebwurstion. I need goggles to fit over the sunglasses when hiking Appalachian Trail or Patagonia. The winds, dirt, rain on tops of mountains can destroy your eyes.Do you have a recommendation?
